MAKE A DAY OF IT! 🚲🤗🏞

Killearn

Killearn Play Park
The village of Killearn is an idyllic place for a wander. It’s beautiful wooden children’s playground, situated just behind the old Killearn Hotel, is a two minute walk from the cafe and has been proven to entertain our kids for hours on end! With a zip slide and plenty of space to run around, the park provides plenty of entertainment for kids of all ages.

Killearn Glen
The Glen is also a beautiful place for a walk, although with a few uneven pathways and water underfoot, the walk is unsuitable for prams or wheelchairs and wellies are advised in wet weather! The main entrance to the Glen can be accessed via Beech Drive, which is a five minute walk from the cafe.

Quarriers Village

N75 Sustrans Cycle Path
Why not bring the bikes? Or better yet, leave the car at home and travel here by bike! Our cafe is situated off the N75 Sustrans Cycle Path, a traffic free route, perfect for little cyclists to practice their skills in a safe environment away from cars. The N75 Cycle Path can be accessed from the surrounding villages of Bridge of Weir, Kilmacolm, Kilbarchan and Lochwinnoch. If you’d like a longer cycle, why not cycle or drive to one of these locations and access the path? To view the route map of the N75 around Inverclyde and Renfrewshire, click here

Quarriers Village Play Park
Quarriers Village has a lovely play park very close to the cafe, situated just behind the Mount Zion church building in the heart of the village. The park is adjacent to large playing fields and accesses a lovely river walk. There is a kids cycle path located beside the playwark also, perfect for learner cyclists or little scooters!

Testimonials

Testimonials from our Christmas, Half Term and Easter crafty kids events –

“Just wanted to let you know that the Crafty Pancakes session at Quarriers was fab! The kids ranged in age from 3 to 12 and they all loved it! The girls were great with the kids- really attentive and enthusiastic about their creations. If we’re back down from Tobermory at Easter time, then we’ll definitely book another session!” – Kara (visited Quarriers Village Crafty Pancakes session)

“The kids and I enjoyed the Christmas Crafternoon Tea at Three Sisters Bake – highly recommend for next year” – Glasgow Mummy – blogger

“The lovliest, most chilled, relaxing Christmas experience ever! Fab for parents and kids.”
– Louise (Mum to Georgia age 5)

“I recently visited the Killearn cafe to take part in their half term pancakes. I attended this with two girls aged 8 and 9 years and was slightly apprehensive that they may be too old, how wrong could I have been!! The crafts that were on offer, offered a fantastic opportunity for the girls to be as creative as they desired with a wide range of media for them to choose from. The biscuit decorating came with a great selection of coloured icing and also sprinkles etc for them to select. To enjoy a coffee and cake in peace I would certainly say it was great value for money! From sending my initial email to the three sisters bake I received a prompt professional response and a fantastic service right through to attending on the day. We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and all the staff were very accommodating, I would definitely be back to any more classes that you may have. Well done girls, keep up the good work!!!”  (Mum to girls aged 8 and 9)

“Just wanted to say thank you so much for the Easter Bunny Trail you organised during the holidays. We went along on Tuesday 10th and had a fantastic experience. The event was so well organised with 3 brilliant (and age appropriate) activities for the children. The girl running the event was lovely and very friendly, as were all the rest of the staff. They all took time to speak to the children about what they had created.
It was a great event, good value for money and we will definitely be back to other events. (We will also be recommending them to others!) Thanks again for a fantastic morning.”
